All in all, the experience with working with other people was challenging at times, but I mostly was confined to my roles and what I was designing. However, the most important thing I learnt was being patient while my team members were busy with their own designated workload to bring the project to life. There were a few tricks I had to learn and re-learn, both new and old respectively since the last time I’ve used Photoshop to better illustrate my knowledge about the software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of, if not the other major aspect of the whole project was how well I’ve managed to keep the team spirit alive on our communication channel with me being the team leader and all. I normally struggle a bit with leading something like this and at times, I felt like I let the team down by not communicating a little better as a team leader should. This issue merely impacted the amount of work needed to increase the chances of the business being sprung to life as intended. I think I have also improved overall at presenting the work on a weekly basis, considering that I have struggled to speak long sentences without abruptly stopping to think of what to say next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another common issue was that without Seb or Kye updating much of the site and saving the updated website to Templately, I was stuck with doing all of the tweaking to the initial site, starting with updating it with my design work first before adding theirs in. I feel like that could work a lot better in the future when doing something like this. But when I do get to lead a team again. I would focus on improving what made me struggle and improve upon them so that I could boost morale into the spirit of my leadership responsibilities.
