As a basic introduction to what the module is all about, the class was tasked with making a set of paper airplanes in groups. The results As a basic introduction to what the module is all about, the class was tasked with making a set of paper airplanes in groups. The results from Group 5 were a mixture of good designs and bad designs ranging from very good model airplanes that resembled fighter jets to poorly made box-shaped planes that didn\u2019t go as far, and that reflected in the trajectory of the plane\u2019s path. Each member had to create their own version and test the flight path to see what work and provide some analytical principles in the final design that would be crafted by the group itself. Liam\u2019s version of his paper airplane flew to the side and nose-dived straight down. The revision process for the group plane applied all of the techniques from the other groups and modified the overall wings of the plane to improve the trajectory. When the group presented their plane a second time, the result found that the flight path improved exponentially in comparison to all of the other group effort planes. This is what Group 5 came up with as their final product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Basically, the whole purpose of the exercise was to enforce the students to write up a weekly blog post that documents the progress leading up to the assignment and show their contribution in the groups they have been allocated to, plus a number of different factors that includes the type of people we are, the unique selling point and the type of project we would be working on as a group so that we document our progress individually, helping us out massively in the module when it is time to submit the work.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
